Alex Pape
Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science degree from the University of Virginia and has been at Miner Institute since 2017. He works on the quantitative components of various research projects around the Institute. This ranges from data management and visualization to implementation of special-purpose methods and new technologies. Alex has recently been involved in projects looking at dominance hierarchies among cows, cows’ feed preferences, and the seasonality of milk components. He also works with the Summer Experience in Agricultural Research (SEAR) students on their summer research projects and leads a periodic meeting to discuss methodological and technological issues of interest to the research staff.
