Jered Green

Jered is a North Country native, growing up on a small dairy farm in Chateaugay, NY where he still resides. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Plattsburgh and spent 8 years working in dairy manufacturing at the cheese plant in Chateaugay. Starting as a lab technician and eventually holding the title of Quality Assurance supervisor before coming to Miner Institute in 2016. Jered is responsible for the operation and management of the Milk Analysis lab as well as aiding in the daily operations required for conducting research studies at the Dairy barn. He is also responsible for maintenance and quality assurance of equipment used in data collection for our research projection.
